What To

What to expect

During your initial consultation we discuss, assess, and identify your main complaints through physical assessment. The aim of the session is to evaluate your musculoskeletal system and biomechanics through:

  • Active and passive muscle testing
  • Orthopaedic assessment
  • Palpation
  • Postural assessment

We also begin hands on treatment in your initial session and will talk you through our treatment objectives. We may provide manual therapies such as deep tissue massage, dry needling, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching, strapping, corrective exercise and rehabilitation. You may only need 2-4 treatments however depending on the injury and your lifestyle, more treatment and a management program may be recommended.
